I can imagine that other site going on the rampage about this post, trying to protect Muism again:
"that's really good hair. *SOB* LEAVE MUISM ALONE!!!! AFTER ALL MUISM HAS DONE FOR YOU! THAT HAIR IS CALLED GILLES AND WHY? BECUSE GILLES IS A TRADITIONAL BUTLER NAME AND MUISM IS LIKE A BUTLER, UNDERAPPRECIATED FOR ALL THERE HARD WORK! *SOB* LEAVE MUISM ALONE!"
As a photographer, when I see people with textures like this asking me to do their pics, I usually turn them down. It means massive retouching for me in order to make them look good and keep my rep up and I'm too busy for it.
People don't have to create hair to know when hair doesn't work. If you work closely with it in any arena, including photography, you realize what is decent hair and what isn't. The same goes for badly textured or drawn clothing, shoes, jewelry, etc.
I stared at the screen thinking... is this for real or a hoax, lol. Then a scene crept into my head... "Erm, what shall I wear today, my Orientation Island hairdo or my Muism hair?" lol
A little whisper to new residents reading this: you can pick up better hair in freebie shops. That means it's actually free. :)

DeMerick Creeley said... like, yeah, I think I'll wait until this hits the freebie chairs, ya know...but, like, I won't be standing around waiting for my name to come up or anything...the textures are like, gag me with a spoon...
I'm realizing this isn't a fluke with Muism. They may be nice people but business is business. Nothing personal against this designer but this is the biggest laugh.
To actually try to pass this off to your loyal customers speaks loads about the people behind Muism. I'm a designer that wishes I hadn't seen this myself. A friend mentioned this to me and we belted out almost in tears.

LOOK AT THE SIDE PICK OF THE BLACK HAIR THE BIG CHUNK HANGING DOWN. I'M SORRY THIS IS VERY BAD. I THINK IT'S IMPORTANT AS WELL BLOGS COVER ALL TYPES OF STORIES. ANYONE WOULD SAY THIS IS A DISASTER ZONE.
I design hair in SL. And work very hard at it. This is about 10 minutes work of prims and the texture looks like the bulk pack on SL Exchange you can get and then a bit photoshopped to blur it.
It's very poor in terms of execution and artist flair. If you compare this to say MMS Hair, you can see the different of effort that has gone into the final product.

I'm thinking the price probably keeps this out of newbie range...
Where do I begin? Laughing
Muism has totally lost it!

Indeed this hair looks like it's in need of heavy conditioner. Icky
Do you know how to make hair? Of course you don't! How was that pizza?
Carol Brady look alike.
...lets keep the comments on the hair.
...I don't make hair, but I know what good hair looks like, and what the hell are all these pizza comments you're making?
hmm...I could go for pizza...Do you work for that company that set up ordering pizzas in-world and decided to get in a free plug? Because it worked.
...come over Dem and we can share it (lol) and laugh about this hair.

As a photographer and stylist in sl this is very poorly done. I would also turn them away. I don't have all day to Photoshop hair.
