Watching the people involved in this and how they brought it upon us their group memebers I won't be involved or back to Tainted Boys. Adonis and Eddi have behaved very badly in all this.
Eddi has been saying he is part owner of Blu too. Lets watch him drive them all nuts next. I hope Adham is much smarter than Jason in all this. Adonis's club wasn't anything great anyway.

OMG Eddi Haskell again! I wondered how long it would be before he next kicked up a stir. First the DRAMA QUEEN had a huge feud with Jake and setup saturday nights to hurt Jakes Club. Then he tried to take over Boots Beach. He spams everybody to come to his parties. This guys really too much!
I heard Adonis has a hell of a temper too. He once abused me in his club when I asked him a siple question about who won the contest one time. He started shouting in caps lock and went beserk. He edned up banning me for asking a question! Don't cross Adonis or he'll be out for your blood.

I loved High Energy and when they merged it sucked and never went back. The music was dreadful and reminded me of the once T.Boys but now infecting the popular High Energy. Bad move for High Energy.

It was just an attempt to join two clubs that went wrong. They didn't plan their respective jobs, and toes were stood on.
Don't see why Eddi is involved in this, as it was between the four club owners. Adonis himself is saying here that Eddi was not the problem.
If it was a blind date, the sex was crap and they split up in the morning. We all have dates like that. Next night in the bar you blame the other person for being awful in bed. But it takes two to tango, or in this case, four.

Hello everyone. Adonis and me are seriously sorry about what happend the last days. We did not foresee that thinks would come like they did. Andy and Jason were good friends for us, and Andy still is.
A while after our merge Andy and Jason broke up. They got divorced and Andy decided to leave our group. After Jason got to know this he also decided to leave "Tainted Boys". He even wrote an official message in the group where he says that he is leaving.
To Adonis and me he said he would not be here for some days. He left us with the complete business. That's the point when he already showed that he's not rational. From the beginning on he did what he wanted. Planing a whole week with sets without asking the others just showes how he care about the merge and partnership.
After he told us to leave us for some days Adonis and me got a little angry and we felt somehow sorry for what happend. Even if Andy and Jason decided by thier own what they did. We tried to talk to him, but we had no chance since he did not reply to our offline messages. As for Adonis and me, the merge ended with his offical group message and we aksed Jason to keep his promise, to leave our group.
We got to know that he installed chat devices all over his place, which Adonis and me did not accept. You guys know why you can trust us. Syping at our guests, our staff and yes, even our friends is just miserable and never got suppurted from Adonis and me. Yesterday he tried to use some of this, what was said in an anger mood, against us.
Yesterday we all said things which we may don't mean like they was said. The results you could see by getting kicked out of our group. Jason just showed that he is not able to talk thinks out. He react emotional and irrational. He destroyed his own club and mall. And I think many of you guys are angry about his behavior too. Deleting his own stuff and kicking all members out of the group is the last step someone can do. With this action he just showed his real face to us all.
Jason is now also trying to cause troubles between Adonis and me, by showing me pictures which were made ages ago. Before I even joint Second Life. That's just one more absurd step which he'll made. An other last deep breath he'll made before he puts hisself to be history. Trying to destroy a relationship only because he's not able to have an own is just bad.
Adonis and me built the "Tainted Boys" group over month together with you all. We worked hard for it. And you guys know us good. Don't let Jason destroy what we built together with you guys: A great group with great guys! "Tainted Boys" is not dead. Adonis and me made sure to save our own land. Jason destroying his own stuff don't hurt us. "Tainted Boys" will be back. And we know we can count at you guys. Over the past months you all showed us why it worth to sort out the things which happend lately. You guys want the same like Ado and me, a good group without any drama. A place to relax. We are sorry about what happend, but we are looking forward. We will be back soon as you know us. But we'll need your help by supporting us. By joing our group again. So we can make the things again like they should be.
You guys messed up. It happens, that's life. A great shame too, as it looked very successful with a few excellent nights before it went bust! In fact it was a popular merge and plenty of people went. I am sure everyone will support Tainted Boys and High Energy, or go to the club they most prefer. No need for martyrs and sacrifices, just go back as you were, a little wiser perhaps. It's about the music, dummkopf! :)
I loved high energy night. When they combined them it sucked. I also hope high enegry returns. until then I will go to BLU. Adonis has been known to be a thief in the past and it doesn't surprise anyone he did it again.

Wow, just read the blog. I guess I should add something. Firstly, thanks to everybody who did support Club High Energy. Adonis and Trace have made their comments and feelings known above. I'm not gonna make the same bedtime reading rant that Trace said.
All I'll say is that Ado did steal land from me. I deeded the land I owned and paid tiers for to the group we both shared and he sneakily bought it behind my back and without my knowledge. I was also threatened by Trace on the night that if I did not leave his group within 90 seconds, he would deliberately go out of his way to make my name mud. He then subsequently send a vindictive message to the group 90 seconds after. I responded accordingly by closing down the group. End of story.
I'm disappointed in them, but I've already moved on. I think they should too. Everybody has now heard both sides and can freely make their own minds up on what happened.

Tainted Boys has always been a last choice in clubs to go too. This is just the last straw for me as well.

Hi Carrie, I'm glad you enjoyed the other stories. This is something you had to be involved in to really understand--and many people ended up involved thanks to notice spam.
I wanted to say that I've been avoiding the club scene too, mostly because of burnout. Clubs aren't really cash cows in SL. Running a club has to be about loving the service you provide. If it becomes a way to make a name for yourself or based on a desire to make money, it's likely to end in a bad way.
Second Life needs to be about fun. We have enough bad in RL. SL is a different place and we make it what we want it to be.

Ammon is censoring comments about Jason by people who know him personally. Jason is not an emotionally stable person and it was just a matter of time before he had another meltdown. There were too many overinflated egos at High Energy for it to survive. They arrogantly serial spammed groups, spied on patrons and other clubs using alts, and went on a vendetta trying to close other clubs. High Energy, and Hyacinth island before it, were monuments to ego that collapsed from vapidity. Lot of people on SL need to smash their computers and get real lives.
Adonis or Trace, can one of you please use this forum to explain the reason for buying the land? I think that would help quite a bit. If you want to IM me in world that will work too and I can post it here with editing to make it clearer in English.
Eddi is not owner of either club and was not involved in any decision. This was stated on the Tainted Boys blog. They are accepting responsibility for the decisions and asking that Eddi be left out and that is a virtuous action.
I'm still not aware of the full story and remain neutral. However, I do believe that, regardless of fault, it's time to take a break and reconsider the value of real life and Second Life.
Everyone does good in both worlds, whether they mean to or not. Eddi raises massive funds for charity. Jason brings us great music to enjoy. While I don't know Adonis or Trace well, I'm sure they make great contributions as well. Humans tend to focus on the bad, but let's remember that everyone here has done good for the community in some way. This hurt us and we're still stunned. But we will recover, and hopefully we will see the value of what everyone contributes.
Perhaps we can move forward with a focus on lifting each other up rather than driving each other down. We all need a hand sometimes and I've been there. All involved can recover and continue to contribute if we recognize that this isn't about egos or who was right. It's about strength in the community.
After DEVILinside there is less tolerance for clubs running riot. Clubbers are better informed than ever before. You don't even have to go to a club to know what the owners and DJs are up to, the word is on the street. It's not a big problem, it never was, it only ever seems to be one or two clubs.
It's best to run a club as a club, use it as a base for drama, alliances, power grabs and negative propaganda... you are going to get called out. All that time, all that money, it will all go down the tubes.
All we want is the music, fun and friendship, and to enjoy being with you. Nothing more. Do more than that and word will get out. And on that day we will vote with the teleport button.
I spoke with Trace to confirm something I'd heard about the land sale to Adonis. This is a summary of Trace's explanation for the land transfer.
Right after the merger, Adonis purchased a parcel next to High Energy in order to expand. During the week, Jason and Andy stated they were giving up their claim to the merged club. Comments were also made that he would be leaving Second Life for a while and Adonis and Trace would need to run the club while he was gone. In either case, tier was due and since the land was a Dreamland sim, there were issues involved with paying the tier. Trace tried to contact Jason, but was unable to get a response.
Since they were unwilling to let the land go back to Dreamland and couldn't see how much tier was due while it was in Jason's name, they made the decision to transfer it to Adonis's name in order to pay the tier. Their intention was not to steal land, but to save it from being repossessed.
I have not spoken with Jason regarding this, but intend to get his side of the story as well.
Eddi always will say he wants to be left out of it. He is the trouble for many things in sl. The day he realizes this the better we all be. The guy is way to much and way to involved.
So Demerick what your alluding to here is that Jason went psychotic and ripped apart Adonis' group and created all this mess because someone was trying to save his club? Nice guy there Jason! and fully endorsed and supported by inV.

....just getting in from a late lunch. I would like to say that inVd and inV never took sides in this club war or were never involved. We just like many of you watched the distaster the same way you did. I simply mentioned I will not sway on my friendships in difficult times. In difficult times is not the time a true friend leaves. I am frankly over the war in clubs as well and if you can't run a professional club or business in sl you won't see me there or supporting it. Sl is full of wonderful people and is meant to be fun. At least this is how I look at it. I have an excellent rl life and I have an excellent sl life. I couldn't imagine creating a sl to match a rl. The day I start not haveing fun in sl is the day I pull the interent cord.

Tuning into some streams are the way to go now and home parties. Clubs have lost many people's interest now and fewer people are showing up. I don't blame them either. I would never step foot in Tainted boys again. It's always the same people and the drama.
I think the best thing to come from this is to realize that there are feelings behind the avatars I am sure Jason was hurt about the divorce and there was not clear communication people just started lashing out out of anger. Its always good to take a break when emotions become involved to think with a clear head. I hope everyone has learned some real life lessons from what goes on in Second Life.

I hope the club owners get it together, because there is nothing that turns off people more than club politics, thats a walk to the EXIT sign. I don't want to know the views of a club owner or DJ and green dots are not an indiction that a point of view is shared.
We are adults in SL and know when our green dots are used as pawns. If anything we are tut-tutting, shaking our heads and wondering how long the club will be around before it gets sunk, not because of the music, but because of the opinions held by staff. It does look like some are on a ego trip, using their connection with a club to promote themselves and their opinions. Well, thats not why we go clubbing, thanks.
As for Eddi, the club owners commenting here never said anything so he is not relevant. Eddi is a showman, an old hand at clubbing and event promotion. If he has been loud and involved on the dance floor thats his job, as a host, manager or owner. High Energy/Tainted Boys dissolved AFTER he handed over it's running and brand name to the four boys.
SL has always been a place for nobodies who want to be somebody.

Okay I didnt log on yesterday much as it was my RL Birthday party. I've only just had chance to check the comments Trace has sent to Dem as "his" explanation. Trace is being a bit economical with the truth. I told Ado and Trace I was not gonna log on for a few days and needed a break.
I logged on to check messages on the Thursday evening and was immediately confronted with a threat from Trace that I had to leave the Tainted Boys group which we were all co-owners to or he would make it his task to make my name mud. So I returned to the club and found out that Adonis had sold the club that I had deeded to our group to his own name without my consent or knowledge. I don't respond well to threats, blackmail, theft or shameful tactics lightly.
I therefore, closed down the Tainted Boys group as a result. Ado and Trace have since gone on a crusade to say what they said they would set out to do. They have written essays on their blog, multiple messages on this blog, they have contacted all my friends and villified me.
All I have done is write one paragraph of a response on my own blog and a small response on this blog and now I felt that I needed to write a second response here. I will now copy and paste the transcript between Trace and I on Thursday evening that led to this mess. Remember that Trace sent this Instant Message to me within minutes of logging on and I only intended to log on and check messages from my partner.

Everyone seems to be unaware of Jason's mental problems. It's classic bipolar disorder. Here is the description of the disorder:

All this bickering over SL issues isn't what counts here. What IS important is when a friend of our's has a serious mental disorder and refuses to acknowlodge even the fact that there is a problem.

It started with removing both of them from his group. Did he removed the 3rd involved person too? You can doubt that. Why should he remove his biggest suck-up?

I am commenting to say that I have received several threats regarding this blog, trying to force me to take it down. Threats make me stand by my word even stronger. This blog will NOT come down. inVd posted a one line blog. This is not about inVd or inV.
However, the comments about Eddi are now considered excessive harassment. Any comment with his name in it from now on will be deleted. This is coming from the string of comments about him when this is actually about a failed merger.
We need to focus on how SL clubs can be made better rather than who is to blame. We have both sides of the story, and know that when emotions are raw it's hard to know the truth. This merger could have been amazing. As attendees of clubs, we all see things we like and dislike. What can make clubs work better? How can we get SL fun again?

A fascinating discussion, though I would have enjoyed it a lot more, and found it a LOT more informative, if people signed their anonymous entries (and a thank you to Island Projects for signing his).
Though not of vital interest, I was curious to find out what happened, and the only way I have of doing that is to judge the opinions of people I know by what I know of them. And I can't do that with anonymous entries.
For what it's worth, I went to both of the Tainted Boys clubs, both times because the DJ was Jason. And though I liked the music, I didn't like the clubs, or the sim generally.
And whilst I don't know Jason well, and I doubt he sees me as a friend (even if he remembers who I am), I like what I know of him, and don't recognise him in the (anonymous) comments being made about his personality.
I vaguely remember meeting Eddie Haskell, and am in no position to pass comment on the various (anonymous) remarks made above.

I have been inundated all day from some of my closest friends telling me that Eddi has been IMming them claiming that I am mentally ill. He actually said this about my ex-partner, Dan once when those two had fallen out.
His behaviour is actually alarming and disturbing and the above "bi-polar" comment leads me to believe that was made by him anonymously. Everybody who knows me knows that I am not bi-polar. I think people can make up their own minds as to what they think of Eddi's actions.

When someone chooses to attack the messenger because they don't like the message, it's damaging to them. I will say that I've tried to help Trace put this behind them, but certain attacks are only making the club look worse. This isn't about inV or inVd.
In fact, I think this boils down to people taking SL way too seriously. Face it, we aren't our avs, no matter how much we'd like to have those perfect pecs and abs. If you're more worried about your reputation in SL than in real life, there's an issue. I even had someone suggest I should be here watching the blog 24/7 in order to make sure certain comments don't go through. Honestly, I'm not an online babysitter.

After following this for the past two days, and refraining from comment, I can't help but say that this entire thread is just a very sad commentary on the level of maturity of everyone involved...including many of these blog posters who spew hatefulled comments.
And if we were talking about teenagers or 20 year olds that would be one thing...but we know the demographics of SL and many of the people involved in all of this are 30+.
Rise above it people, and find some perspective. Owning a SL club can provide a wounderful opportunity to achieve social power and influence...then harness this power and direct it toward positive outcomes and enriching everyones SL experience through your efforts.
SL has the potential to bring about such great experiecnes for the gay community, and I have no doubt that nightclubs and other social meeting places will continue to serve as the principle facilitator of making connections, falling in love with SL partners, and making lasting memories.
Today I TP'd to the old site of Club High Energy and found myself on a deserted island. What a shame. Nobody wins...we all loose when this type of drama destroys fun places in SL.

Anyone reading this whole set of comments can see just how one sided the whole thing has become. We've heard condemnation after condemnation of Eddi (who seems to have nothing to do with the failed merger at all) and Trace and Adonis, and yet they are hardly given any opportunity to defend themselves. Mind you, I hardly know any of these people, but just reading the whole thing from start to finish, it seems Jason screwed up (went AWOL and left Trace and Adonis to clean up the mess, and then came back and cried foul), Trace and Adonis got blamed for the whole thing going belly-up, and Eddi got dragged into it all, simply for being, you know, Eddi. I know Eddi can be a bit self-absorbed, yes, and he can be a pest with his notices and such, yes, and he did have that very public breakup with Jake, again, yes, but this wholesale character assassination of someone who doesn't seem to be involved with the current issue at all is a bit much. And InV can stop pretending to be an even-handed blog. It is not. Anyone who reads this website can see that.
If I was in Jason's position and presented with a two minute ultimatum to leave the Tainted Boys group I would be highly tempted to delete the group as he did. I am no angel or devil, something inbetween, but in his situation that was a temptation too far. I think most of us would react in the same way - if not then you are going to be the next Pope.
I have to say all four were guilty. You should have planned before you started. It seems like you all rushed into it, and when things changed, you were unable to adapt without running after each other with an axe. I suppose if it was going to meltdown, better it happened in the first week than months later after even more investment and time. It's a shame that Tainted Boys and High Energy have been wounded, perhaps fatally... as both were clubs that had a lot of effort pumped into them before the merger. You lost, we lost.
Having wrote that, the future will decided what people think. Go down the wrong route and you will struggle to succeed as SLers have long memories.

Once again he is taking it upon himself to damage himself further. I liked what Demerick said "who killed the messenger". I have seen enough of his weird behavior the past months and it's sad he continues to behave like this.

I have never taken sides or inV on this club meltdown. I will for the millionth time will say I don't sway on my friendships. If 2 people don't like this than don't like it. I am an adult and I can choose my friends without anyones opinions. One person in particular as been harassing inV for the past 2 days and it is getting very old. Again he can run around attaking inV thats his choice but inV will always conduct ourselves like respectful human beings. I suggest to him if he has anything to say this is the place to do it and not in IMs to us. Dem & I will adress his issues personally in here. We built our business in sl for fun, hard work and being professional. I am sorry this person doesn't see this.

Most of your comment was valid, but on the above I completely disagree. Allcomers over the last couple of days have had a chance to comment, and they have done that. You can read past the more idiotic comments, but they have still been able to comment. And some people believe repetition is the only way to get their point across. Bless them.
But the guys involved have had their say. Without this we would all still be in the dark and picking up info from SL chat and blogs with an axe to grind. This was the very best place for it, and you know more because you came here to read it.
For my part, I am walking away knowing everyone was at fault, I know a few of the people, and know them all to be essentially good and just trying to be involved in clubbing. We all make mistakes, no one is totally perfect or totally evil, but each are trying to do the best they can. Now I know what happened because I read it here from the people themselves, not from someone gossipping or putting a spin on the story.

As much as I like Eddi, and I do, he had the same chance as Jason, Trace and Adonis to comment here, and they did. Yep, he got a raw deal, but so did the other guys. These have been hard days.
Better things were said than this bubbling on for weeks with everyone yakking about it. We are now ready to move on and put it behind us. Not a bad idea as curiosity is satisfied and there is little more to say. And anyway, don't make me have to click an extra link to see comments once they run past 200, lol.
It's done now, it hurt like a tooth being pulled, but that's better than slow decay and all your teeth falling out.

There is no such thing as bad advertising. Adonis and Trace have tempers like mad women. They love to fight and Eddi thinks his weight or pull will help. Not this time Eddi. Ding ding your being shoveled to the bone yard.

I read the situation differently. looks like jason asked for a few days away from the club. Adonis & Trace plotted behind his back with eddis help to take over the club. they stole land away from him. If I got the threat that trace sent to Jason - I wouldve done a lot worse than just close down their group. I would have went to town on their asses
