Grampian Estates

Grampian Estate is more than a land business. We are a vibrant community and every landowner and resident is part of a happy family. The estate owner Ian Bartfeld is passionate about the beauty, security and safety of his estate. Each individual parcel has been designed and landscaped beautifully, providing waterfalls, flowing streams, tree and plant arrangements. Ian along with his management team are on hand everyday to provide our landowners with help and assistance whenever it is required. Finally and most importantly we are a SECURE Estate. Our goal is not the number of sims we have, and how quickly we can expand. We will expand, but will remain happily in the slow lane. Our goal is you; and ensuring your stay in Grampian is a happy, safe and long stay. If you don't beleive us, ask any of our landowners how happy they are! Please find below details of an island available for just a monthly fee. No initial purchase.
Grampian Pride Land (W1 Bay) 4048sqm, 926prims, 4000L$, 32USD Tier.

Centred on the West coast of our tropical residential sim, this parcel has a waterfall and flowing stream. The stream itself beginning from the top of the mountain and separating this parcel from your neighbour. 2 Lilith Heart Palm arrangements and a bougainvillea tree decorate this parcel and are transferable on purchase of the land. Finally this parcel connects to our 'homestead' sim and sailing is permitted.

*** Mention INV Blog and get the purchase fee back on payment of 1st tier. ***

Grampian Isles, 900 Prims, 40USD per month rental

For those of you who prefer the luxury of an island, you will not be disappointed in this. To protect its natural features this island is a rental, and situated in our homestead sim. The island is surrounded by smaller topical islands, containing palm trees, plants and waterfalls to enhance your privacy and beauty. Once you have set-up your home, and even a small harbour for your sailing boat, we will provide any further landscaping, and decoration as you require. This is a beautifully featured island.

I have been at Grampian since the Yumbo drama which led to it's closing. I can tell you that the Owner Ian Bartfeld is the first sim owner that shares the finanical details with the residents. We know how much money comes in and how much goes to Linden Labs on a monthly report. By seeing this report we know that we are a SECURE community. There are no secrets here. Every resident is always welcomed for their input on decisions. Residents are always asked for their inputs on any plans to expand before he decides to do it. If the residents disagree with a plan guess what, it won't happen. As I said, This is a first. How many sim owners out there do that.
To many sim owners out there keep secrets from there residents and expand to big and then the residents find out that the sim is in trouble. Then you have to pack up and look for another place to live. It is a great place to live so come check out the land for rent and purchase. You WILL love it here. The Grampian theme should be "WE ARE FAMILY" because that is what we are. Join the GRAMPIAN FAMILY !!!

Hi there! I can echo all that was posted by the previous comments...Ian and Company (as I like to call them!!) keep us so warmly welcomed and informed, it is unlike anything else. I, as well, came here as an expatriate of the Yumbo tragedy...but we are family here with many Yumbo Refugees as well as new found friends who have also settled here. We are committed to reaching out to each other and being neighborly by helping out each other as much as we can. If you should come by to take a look, please don’t hesitate to chat with whoever you come across – all are welcoming! Enjoy!

I live at Grampian Estate too. Happily! Ian the estate owner is very helpful in all aspects. He can even decorate your land if you don't have any decorating skills :)

The Grampian sims are quite luxurious, though not particularly expensive. I guess I'll stay there as long as will be possible.

BTW, if you decide to buy the land in the first pic, you'll be my neighbor :)) If you rent the island in the second pic you'll be my neighbor too :)))
